On Thursday, July 8, 2021, a capacity building workshop for the administrators of the National Employment Fund (NEF) was held at the Mont Febe Hotel in Yaounde.
This workshop organized by the NEF with the technical and financial support of the International Labour Organization (ILO), through its Office for the Central Africa sub-region, had as main objective to enable all administrators to be at the same level of information regarding the National Employment Fund which they manage, in its mission, its strategy, its axes of intervention through its offer of services to job seekers and enterprises, through its programmes, tools and supports. This is for a better synergy in the management of the NEF, and an optimal contribution in the development and sustainability of this institution.
This meeting also aimed to identify and list the obstacles to efficient action by the NEF, and to find leads to solutions to remedy them.
At the end of this workshop, a set of recommendations were issued, with a view to enabling our institution to operate more efficiently, and with a greater impact of its contribution in the fight against unemployment, especially youth unemployment.
